Ooma Telo Review

!±8± Ooma Telo Review

Ooma Telo is a voice over Internet protocol (VOIP) service that requires Internet service in your home that almost entirely eliminates your monthly phone bill. There is a set up fee required to start the service and then all you pay is a small monthly access fee. Every Ooma Telo review states that it is one of the best, if not the best, voice over Internet protocol service out there.

The Ooma Telo review also notes that you get all the same features that you would with regular phone service. Features like call waiting, three-way calling and voice mail and you also get up to five thousand domestic phone calls per month with the service. International calls cost a little more, however, starting with the premiere package reduces that rate just a little.

So far, there is no bad Ooma Telo review. All of the reviews on the Internet rate the Ooma Telo the highest. The phone calls are much more clear than those from other VOIP devices and you get more calls per month. The monthly fees are also lower. Once you factor in the cost of the device as opposed to your current monthly phone bills and then add in the monthly fees, the box basically pays for itself in as little as six months.

One Ooma Telo review states that the service is meant for residential use but does have business packages available for those working at home who need more than five thousand calls per month. Though, most virtual call centers require the employee to dial into a mainframe phone number which ties up the line all day however, does not require thousands of phone calls so the residential package would be good for those folks. The initial set-up costs around two hundred fifty dollars and includes the box which can be purchased from several different ecommerce web sites as well as a few big-box technology retailers. Once again, it does require you to have Internet service already installed in your home and your current phone number can be moved over to the Ooma Telo service. Some reviews state that moving the telephone number is free, others state that there is a small fee assessed, so it would be a good idea to get those details firm before making that decision.
